The Master's Degree in Economics will provide graduates with an in-depth knowledge of economic issues, a good command of analysis tools and the principles and institutions of the legal system, so as to enable them to use economic logic to tackle the problems inherent in economic systems, companies and national and international institutions.

Parallel to the training activity in the classroom, based on the analytical approach identified in paragraph three of this document, the specific training objective to be achieved is strongly oriented towards the acquisition of highly professional skills to be achieved through certain activities - didactic-laboratory organized in the three laboratories already existing within the DiGiEc and included in the training course for the master course of study LM-56. In fact, the global training activity envisaged for the establishment of the course is specifically aimed at providing a specialization for the student which is framed in one of the following three areas: (self) - entrepreneurship and start-ups; economy and management of archaeological, cultural, tourist and environmental heritage; analysis and study of criminal phenomenology, its economic implications and the management and reuse of assets confiscated from organized crime. For more details on the overall activities offered by the three laboratories, please refer to the description given on page eighteen of this document. Due to this and given the particular attention paid to this specific training action, the course proposes 10 credits upon completion, with the purpose of giving a strong connotation to training of the potential student on the basis of the specific characteristics of the territory.

The course of study foresees the achievement of 120 CFUs within 2 academic years of which 98 CFUs will be obtained by passing 10 exams; 10 CFUs to be acquired through laboratory activities; 2 CFUs to be obtained through participation in the training internship; and finally 16 CFU to be achieved through the preparation of the dissertation.

The didactic model adopted assures assisted learning for the student for the whole training course with access to specifically developed teaching aids and a repertoire of individual and / or group teaching activities led by teachers and tutors.
