On Tuesday 23 February 2021, the seminar program of the LABORATORY OF HISTORY AND ANALYSIS OF ARCHITECTURE AND THE CITY and CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF SETTLEMENTS AND CITIES of the Master's Degree Course in Architecture-Restoration of the PAU Department will begin, taught by prof. Francesca Martorano who introduces and coordinates.
The seminars will take place from February to May 2021, on the Teams platform starting at 9.30.
The 2021 cycle, dedicated to CITY AND ARCHITECTURE. ANALYSIS, COMMUNICATION, PROJECT, will take place in three modules dedicated to: "THE BASES OF THE RESEARCH: ARCHAEOLOGICAL, HISTORICAL, BIBLIOGRAPHICAL AND ICONOGRAPHIC SOURCES", the second to "THE ESSENCE OF THE PLACE: WHICH IMAGES, WHICH GRAPHY?" , the third to "CITIES AND ARCHITECTURE: HISTORY, CONSERVATION, RECOVERY".
The intention is to enrich and articulate the didactic program of the laboratory, offering students, as already implemented in previous years, food for thought, lines of study and experimentation, applied research.
The seminars will be held by professionals and scholars who are experts in the topics identified and by officials structured in the Protection and Promotion Bodies (ABAP Cosenza Superintendence, Calabria Regional Museum Directorate).
