Prof. Marina Mancini, associate of international law in DiGiES and scientific coordinator of the University Library System, was appointed by MIUR as an Italian member of the Management Committee of the COST Action CA18228 "Global Atrocity Justice Constellations" (https: //www.cost .eu / actions / CA18228 / # tabs | Name: management-committee).
The COST - European Cooperation in Science and Technology Program is an intergovernmental program, established in 1971 and financed by the European Union, of which 38 European countries are members, including Italy.
The COST Action in question has as its object the study of the impact of international criminal courts on national systems of repression of the so-called atrocity crimes (war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide) and the influence of the latter on the action of the former and is funded for the period 2019-2023. It is attended by scholars from 26 European countries and 11 non-European countries, including the United States, Canada and Australia. The economic value of the planned activities is estimated at 80 million euros.
