Università Mediterranea in the elite of world research

Last October, a group of researchers from Stanford University published the results of an international study that also closely affects the Università Mediterranea.

reports a ranking among researchers active in the field of world scientific literature. This ranking is based on citations and the impact of scientific articles derived from the data contained in the Scopus database. The rankings include both the 100,000 most cited researchers in all sectors of world research, and the 2% percentile of the most cited researchers in their respective research fields (among those who have published at least five scientific articles excluding self-citations from the calculation) .

In both rankings, there are members of the Università Mediterranea. Proff in the ranking articulated by career. It is a recognition, based on objective data and of international scope, which gives credit to the work carried out daily by professors, researchers and, more generally, by all components of the University and which enhances the skills acquired and the results produced. in research, making our small but lively academic reality visible in the elite of world research.
