Objectives Knowledge and understanding of the laws of kinematics and dynamics of a particle and systems of particles. Knowledge and understanding of conservation laws. Ability to deal with a mechanical problem from the dynamic and energetic point of view. Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics of oscillatory motions and wave phenomena. Knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of thermodynamics.
Ability to apply the concepts learned in order to solve problems and exercises.
Ability to critically examine the results. Ability to communicate the knowledge gained through an appropriate scientific-technical language. Ability to improve the acquired knowledge.
