Objectives Synthetic description:
The course, in addition to providing the fundamental knowledge of technologies based on renewable sources, aims to address in particular the study of systems of direct conversion of chemical energy into electrical energy (fuel cells), particularly with regard to the structure and chemical-physical properties and catalytic properties of the materials.

Acquisition of knowledge on:
- the main sources of energy;
- renewable energy;
- materials for energy;
- political and economic aspects of the "energy system".
